Dear Tanguero Friend we are excited to be working in this new experience with Tango Relays to interweave Tango and many other forms of art related with it. .

As time pass and we invite to participate different artists who will be sharing their view of the dance of tango hopefully we will see how their art is being impacted by their exposure to tango and subsequently hopefully how our tango is eventually benefited from that better understanding of that art we will develop.
In this particular Tango Relay 2 "About and Around Piazzolla" we also are interested in better understanding part of his work. We are trying to help ourselves and all those who also dare to do so to better understand the legacy of one of the most famous argentine musicians: Astor Piazzolla. Our interest is also to make dancers more familiar with the different danceable styles he played during his long career, thus we will be visiting selected pieces of his work during the most important decades of his traditional production in the 30,s , 40's , 50's and then the subsequent and more modern ones till his decease. During the different classes and workshops at Pittsfield Grange and later on at the Toledo Tango Club we will be working with selected pieces to develop basic moves that can enable us to better dance his music. We will be finally be privy to dance at Come Dancing a couple of his traditional and modern repertoire with the live music from Folias.
We were able to put together this program in collaboration with Toledo Tango Club, A2 Tango, and MTango. During the program in Toledo we will be able to enjoy the "Four Seasons with a Twist" Concert by the Toledo Symphony, and during the Final night on Saturday at Come Dancing we will be pleased to enjoy the Tango Show by Carolina del Rivero and Donato Juarez, two great argentine teachers and dancers who are brought by A2Tango for the workshops running during that weekend which we strongly recommend you to take.
